ARPA is proud to be the Alberta provider of HIGH
FIVE(R), Canada's only Quality Assurance Program for recreation and
sport program for children aged 6-12. HIGH FIVE(R) provides a
range of training, assessment tools and resources to ensure that
organizations can deliver the highest quality programs possible.
Training and Development
From frontline staff to supervisors to policy makers,
HIGH FIVE(R) gives you tools to ensure your programs have healthy
child development principles in mind.
Tools and Resources
HIGH FIVE(R) has developed a QUEST (Quality
Experience Scanning Tools) system to help you evaluate your programs
and policies to improve the quality of children's programs.
Quantitative results allow you to easily see areas of strength and
growth opportunities.
Public Awareness
Resources are available to parents to help them
evaluate programs they are or are considering enrolling their
children into. Parents will be able to recognize quality
programming in HIGH FIVE(R) organizations.
Ongoing Support
Individualized consultation and support will be
provided from HIGH FIVE(R) Alberta to ensure smooth implementation.
Half-day implementation planning sessions are also available.
Supplementary Products
A range of HIGH FIVE(R) products are available for
coaches, program leaders, supervisors and parents.
